There is a new course requirement for beauty professionals to complete for renewal. This is a 1 time, 1 hour only training on abnormal skin growth education, including melanoma identification. While we at Yes Pretty do not offer this training yet, we will become ambassadors of this important topic. The state of Illinois (IDFPR) does have a recommended course available, check it out here Skinny on Skin. Make sure you get that handled by your next renewal date so you stay compliant.
